**Role Summary:**

The incumbent Global Quality Leader - Distribution will hold a global and local quality leader role. The Global Quality Leader - Distribution is responsible for building a customer centric quality culture and driving quality improvement actions globally, as well as at the Mt. Juliet, TN Warehouse.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

As the Global Quality Leader - Distribution, you will:

+ Work closely with plant quality leaders to drive improvements in all aspects of packaging and process quality

+ Provide direction and support to all regions with logistics improvements, including packaging, carriers' performance, delivery accuracy and general logistics quality

+ Work closely with Plant Quality teams on internal and external opportunities

+ Analyze transportation damage claims, initiate corrective and preventive actions

+ Support and facilitate the global quality team on logistics improvement initiatives

+ Improve the quality of packaging and labeling from internal plants / warehouse

+ Establish a strong QMS

+ Define clear processes and metrics for their effectiveness

+ Conduct site audits to ensure quality procedures are followed

+ Lead the development of quality standards and process improvements

+ Define budget needs and execute quality improvement projects (S2 programs)

+ Maintain quality records, documentation and reporting

+ Provide feedback to plants on quality issues and support corrective actions


+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

+ Minimum of 4 years of professional work experience

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality System Planning and Quality Improvement methods or equivalent

**Desired Characteristics:**

+ Previous work experience in Logistics or Quality environment

+ Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas

+ Leadership experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics or Quality

+ Six Sigma Black-Belt certification or equivalent

+ Operations Management Leadership / Development program graduate or equivalent

+ Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to involve other functions

+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
