Data Integration Architect I
Responsible for development and management of data integration processes in the enterprise environment. These activities include data extraction, transformation, movement, loading, cleansing and updating.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
* Inventories existing data architecture, including data flows and systems. Designs data architecture that integrates new and existing environment. Develops process for capturing and maintaining metadata. Manages ETL code changes.
* Creates mappings of varying complexity.
* Documents ETL jobs with source to target mappings and appropriate metadata as needed.
* Consults with business on needs of varying complexity.
* Evaluates moderately complex requirements and creates detailed business requirements and technical specifications. Analyzes impact to other processes and reports.
* Solves moderately complex business and system issues.
* Participates in creation of test cases and executes basic test plans.
* Creates individual task estimates and conducts small meetings with business and/or IT department members.
* Communicates complex ideas, issues, and system processes to business, IT staff, as well as third-party agencies and external contractors.
* Leads small projects, creates project plans, assigns and monitor tasks. Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost effective manner.
* Bachelor's degree (B.S. / B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
* 3-6 years of relevant experience.
* 3+ years of verifiable experience using Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange (9.x environment preferred). Development experience required; administration experience strongly preferred.
* Required knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL and SQL Server, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
* Ability to use case analysis and knowledge of business domain
* Strong conceptual and analytic skills
* Outstanding communication skills with both technical teammates and non-technical customers
